There's any number of reasons people give up and considering the joke of the COVID bills as well as ALL the other corporate welfare checks and kickbacks to big business, I am finding it harder and harder each day to blame it on lazy people. Lazy people have been around for... well... as long as there has been a human race. There will always be those who try to take advantage of the system. But let me ask you this, which one of those two types is a threat to your well being? The pothead in the trailer park minding their own business? Or the corporate fat cat lobbying for regulations to murder small business?

The anti-welfare arguments are a DISTRACTION. They serve no actual purpose except to gaslight and divide us all. That lazy fuck isn't working in politics to steal more of your money. This is how they get away with stealing more of your taxes. Lastly, instead of assuming all people on welfare are lazy, talk to them. I do know people who are and yes, I agree with reform, however a safety net protocol to help people get back on their feet is a good thing.
