I loved both of the volts I leased.. The gen 2 got great gas mileage, almost 40mpg when run on the generator. I wonder how much better the mpg would be if the battery pack was removed outright.

I am thinking about getting a Ford Maverick pickup. The hybrid gets 40mph (city driving)

What I really like about it is the size. It is a regular car (think Rav4 or Ford Escape) with a pick up bed. We saw one and My wife and I agreed it would be great.

My wife liking a pickup, Awesome! Now if I can only get one at MSRP which my local dealer says he will honor I will be all set. The 2023 Maverick won't be available to buy until mid September.

MSRP starts at about $21k
