It's 38 cents/mile for the battery alone.
If you add the labor and tax, it's 42 cents/mile -- PLUS all the electricity costs to charge it for 70K miles.
And the battery will resch end of life even if you dont use it much. Unlike the motor in a car which requires a great deal.of use.
