A few years ago they made it to the super bowl, then just... fell apart. Football is SCRIPTED

I predicted Eli Manning winning the year that he did. After the first Colts win, I said "Watch the Giants win this year, what a story that would be, right? Both Manning brothers win Super Bowl Rings in back to back years!"

And it fucking happened.

I never got on the Peyton Manning bandwagon when he was bringing the Colts so close to the ring for all those years, despite everyone around me getting Colts fever. I gave them a shot one time during the playoffs, because they were on TV and everyone was talking about them at the place my ex and I were at. You know what they did? THEY THREW THE GAME. They pulled ALL of their starters and let the entire 2nd string play the game. They had a nearly 30 point lead and just pissed it away in the second half and didn't even think "man maybe we should put our defensive line in to secure this win."

Then Peyton was out there 'crying' because they lost the playoffs. No, you did that shit on purpose. I don't remember what team won that year, I think some big-shot was retiring after that season and never got a ring so they needed his team to win.
