When my daughter was about 1.5 years old, my dad (her grandfather) was asking her some simple questions at the dinner table. One of them was "what's is your dog's name?"
She looked right at our German Shepherd / Great Dane mix (named Duke) and said... very sternly... "NO."
Everyone immediately looked at me, and I calmly explained "he always wants what I'm eating... and he can't have it."
I have a neighbor who's dog's name is "Shut Up" .
At least that's what I think. Every time the dog says anything, they always yell "Shut Up" .

...of course I am going to say that I feel badly for the poor dog...
I have a video of my grandson who was 2 or 3. The dog named Leroy took something from him. He started yelling no no. Then said F******Leroy.
His mother said what did you say. He looked right at her and matter of fact said F****** Leroy.
His dad always yelled at the dog so my grandson thought it was his name.🤣🤣.
...that is precious....
It is hilarious.
