I'm not dooming I'm asking a genuine question about our country. If it goes much further there's going to be some stuff happening in this country that will be irreversible. He needs to step up and wrest control back, or this is all just placating platitudes to keep people from acting.

Your country, my country, has already gone to shit. Decades ago. Actually, 1791. What that was hard to see. However, if you read the Washington Farewell Address, the founders did not leave us without guidance. You could take that address and use it as an overlay of the current state of affairs ..... it would fit like a glove, like a DNA strain, identifying a sole person.
So, with only the consequences in view, what do we choose to do? What is it that you create to put into motion? And whence cometh this " why" question, as if the current state of affairs is Trumps fault?
It is your fault. It is my fault. We let it happen. Some of us were nescient, others choose ignorance.
So, when you can answer my question: What Q post does answer you question?, I will answer your "why"-question.
It just seems like you're trying not to understand. The cabal controls all of our systems... so they have to be dismantled, and it will be painful. But it is being done under the "leadership" of FJB. If the citizenry does not feel the pain, then nothing will change. As of now, citizens are stepping up all over the country and getting involved because they see how shitty things are getting. And it will get worse. The cabal will not go down without a fight. There will be casualties in this war... there already have been. We are in a war. I am not sure you fully understand that. Trump's path is the lesser of evils in terms of what needs to befall this country. But if he didn't do it this way, then the people would stay asleep and they might even perceive him as conducting a coup if he tried to reinstate himself.
