I drink Pedialyte powder sticks every day. You just put it in 8 to 16 ounces of water. I put mine in a bottle of water when I take my supplements every day. It’s the lack of potassium, and possible magnesium and other minerals in your body that are lacking.
Also I would skip out on the Gatorade’s and all those other fake hydrators. They’re full of carbs and sugar. Very bad for you. However, if you’re out working and that’s all you have, I do drink it if that happens
Well there is one other thing that you can look into. And that’s a lymphedema machine. You can get them pretty cheap at Walmart. Basically it’s a sleeve that you slip your foot, and your calf into. And the machine pump air into the sleeves, until that’s really tight, and then it’ll let go. It does this over and over again. If you’re in the hospital, they usually will put them on your legs to keep your blood pumping through your body so you don’t get clots.
When my mom had hip surgery her legs had so much Adema, we put the - Let’s just call them leg pumps. We put the leg pumps on her, and within 15 minutes she had gone to the restroom two times, and then every 15 minutes after that. Her legs shrink down because her body was retaining all that water. I used to get edema, but I don’t anymore but they’re still great for your lymphatic system.
I have every kind of gadget you can use to try and make yourself healthy. I call it my med spa. So just check it out on a Walmart website. Because I got mine I think for under $75 for sure. But the number one thing that they should do, is the Pedialyte sticks every day. And for the first couple days twice a day. That should alleviate the leg cramps immediately. But also the lymphedema machine or the leg pump machine, make sure legs feel so good. And you can do it while you’re watching TV. Or just before you go to sleep at night.
I hope it works out for your friend. God bless you and have a great night.
Ps I was watching an old show that was filmed in San Francisco. It made me sad because San Francisco used to be my favorite place to visit every year in October during the Indian summer. But in the movie everything looks so nice and pretty and I like it used to be. Keep fighting the good fight behind enemy lines! Blessings to you and your family!
Try drinking a Gatorade
One common theory is a magnesium deficiency. Can try supplementing with a mg/calcium supplement for a few weeks. The mag plus calcium automatically come combined in same pill because need calcium to make mag available to your cells. Also, remain well hydrated but dont want to overdo plain water. Need your electrolytes replenished if you sweat a lot in the heat or exercise regularly. Watermelon (the real thing) is great for post workout replenishment.
Gatoraid Fit is made with watermelon juice. Not selling the stuff, just happen to like them.
+1 for mag supp.
