Bible says to remove the beam AKA 2X4 from one's eye before removing the mote AKA splinter from someone else's eye.
Matthew 7:1-5
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
However, many take Matthew 7 out of context and claim Christians are not supposed to judge others, as if everything after Matthew 7:1 is irrelevant.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
John 7:24
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Based on the above verse, you can't judge a homosexual for committing sexual sins any differently than you judge a heterosexual for committing sexual sins.
And if you're committing adultery or having sex outside of marriage yourself, you better repent of your own sins and quit committing them yourself before you even think of saying anything about somebody else. Don't be a hypocrite.
By the way, when you call somebody self righteous trash and claim they are overstepping their place for calling out sin, you're making the assumption that person is still a slave to sin and has not confessed and repented of their sins.
How do you know they haven't removed the beam from their eyes already?
