I only know of one person who actually fell serverely ill with COVID. This happened early in 2020, well before the vaccines were ever available.

This was a young adult male who now has a damaged heart. His friends insist he would be okay now if only the vax had been availble then. But apparently COVID itself can lead to heart damage just from a severe case.

Keep your HCQ and iver handy in case you actually come down with the illness, though that is not likely to happen now.
