We are inherently dead in our sin, in our own flesh we can do no good thing, and even our "good" is filthy rags. Mankind is mean because we are wicked. We need a Saviour, Jesus Christ, the Righteous. Without Christ, without repentance and faith, we will continue in sin and die forever separated from God
