They project the mind wipe behaviour exhibited by regime propagandists onto all who post and read on some forums.
It doesn't register with them that we're a collection of individuals who probably agree with a lot of what Trump says and does, and disagree with other things and each other.
their target audience can't think for themselves so this sort of article echoes well.
