How would you be in a position to know this? You have apparently forgotten that Palin came into the governorship on the strength of an anti-corruption effort she mounted against CORRUPT REPUBLICANS. She was the real deal. My former spouse's sister worked in Alaska and had occasion to interact with Palin, and according to her, Palin was a Real person, not a fake.
She resigned from the governorship because the Democrats had embarked on a "resistance" campaign to stymie any legislation she and the Republicans wanted to pass. It was a case of taking a sword in the chest in order to allow the war to be fought.
Go ahead. Enumerate the "good reasons." Who in this world was supposed to understand that John McCain was a traitor in 2008? Who understands it now? Sometimes the perfect is the enemy of "good enough."
Well for one, Alaska is a few degrees removed from the rest if the country. So how they do politics is a bit different from the rest of the lower 49- hell there's even variations from each state.
She may have been genuine for that time, but her resigning cause of "government resistance" sounds like giving up to me especially choosing to become a Fox News contributor... She have started anti establishment, but she eventually became the establishment and arguably still is.
McStain was also just a shit candidate, but now we know his purpose was to ensure Obama's ascension into the white house. She's never come out against McStain or the establishment since. So yes, I stand by what I said. She was a shit candidate to begin with.
Wow. (1) You don't like Alaska. (2) You don't like a "resistance" to Democrats. (3) Anyone on Fox is the enemy (Tucker Carlson?). (4) She was a running mate with McCain, therefore McCain microbes infected her and she is a "shit candidate." Nothing but prejudice and....prejudice. Actual facts and testimony don't count. Easy for you to "stand" by something when there is no challenge or risk involved.
