"The kids at the schools are 11 to 13 years old, and it is encouraging them to go on the dating site, Grindr ... It is not just a place where you go and meet other people. It is a gay sex app, and you are encouraging children to go onto that app and engage in these sexual activities. You're opening them up to sexual predators, and you're opening them up to grooming. So what I'm here to say is that there are no excuses for having a book like this in classrooms at schools here in Florida. It is evil."

Please parents, take your kids out of public school.
Someone will always come up with an excuse to continue endangering their children. The most despicable excuse is perhaps, "wE cAn't gIVE uP thE bAtTLefIELD" - shows damn near zero concern for the wellbeing of the child.
Yes. excuse of all kinds. I know.
Jabbed the children just so they can go to school and only be taught things like this. Make sense to me.
Thanks.
What impresses me the most about conservative America is how infrequently they actually use their firearms to remedy some of these situations.
I guess owning weapons responsibly trains people not to let their emotions get out of hand, quite the opposite of what the evil ones try to portray.
Think of them as defensive, not offensive tools.
Oh I do, I'm a law abiding gun owner myself - in the UK no less. It's just that from this side of the pond you can see how deliberate the provocation has become in order to try and generate a tragic response.
I was merely commending the level of restraint shown, considering the degree of provocation and the ready availability of firearms.
