Sorry to hear. Me, too. I think the ones who wrote me off may come around later, when truth is unavoidable. Some others I can barely stand, anymore, but I am holding a good thought for them, waiting until they come around. We stay friendly on a surface level, but try not to discuss anything that matters. I am not sure I will ever trust people like this again, though. They are very brainwashable.
