The distinction should be:

1. Constitutional argument.

Beyond that, there is none. You either support the Constitution, and defend it, or you don't.

The rest is lumped under the header: common sense, and utilitarian arguments. They may be true, but are not the issue. The issue is Constitution.

And the reason is, without the second amendment, there is no Constitution, no free republics, only a central dictatorship, eroding civil liberties.
