The thing that gets me about this is the “accidentally right” angle. It’s like, we were suspicious of lots of things, did tons of research, didn’t like what we were hearing seeing, did more research...and kept waiting to see...all the while losing family, friends, and jobs.

It wasn’t a 50/50 coin toss in an instant...it was a slow figuring out.

He should be asking himself “why was I so scared?” And “why was I so quickly trusting?”
