I cannot remember if it was ExpertBread or ExpertBread, or Mitch, or Norman, but there was a conversation last or so, that ddiscussing how "capitolization matters." And it wasn't a typo, but really capitolization as in the Capitol. Theories were that the US Capitol was being moved or was moved... some thought to Mar-A-Lago. Discussion of the Organic Act of 1871 came up. Theories about US Corporation etc. Perhaps relevant?
The history of DC is quite interesting. Questionable whether Congress had authority under the Constitution to retrocede land back to Virginia and/or Maryland. Never knew about the special case of the Pentagon now physically being attached to VA but still considered part of DC.
