That’s a big difference from being filled with hatred. You should hate sin also. Especially you own. Since your reading scripture, see what God says about hatred in your heart for your brother(neighbor). Which means everyone you see.
Lizards are not your brothers. They are the seed of satan a brood of vipers if you will. Biblical. Good and evil are always at war. You cannot appease evil at all. If I hate my own sin, why would I embrace the author of sin? Logical thinking.
