Charles being advised by Savile is more significant than people realize. This fact was leaked at the time, but Brits must have thought it was due to Savile's marketing expertise. In hindsight, I'd theorize that Savile was a high ranking Mason, which would explain Prince Charles' deference to Savile, and Savile remaining untouchable while he sexually abused so many people and children despite so many knowing about it.
I would assume it was because Saville had tons of blackmail on him and the rest of the royals.
I expect his "adivce" was along the lines of "I advise you to do what you're told or I'll start leaking things to the press".
