Yeah but it isn't, unless the Bible completely contradicts itself. Its clear that God's will is to reconcile ALL of creation to Himself in the fullness of time. It also says that all men shall come to repentance, each in their own order. Furthermore, the Scriptures state that death and Hell are cast into the lake of fire. It is the second death. How can souls be in Hell for time without end when both are destroyed?
The last enemy to cease is death itself. Can't have a realm of the dead when death no longer exists.
Well you are talking about universalism which is another topic altogether that i dont ascribe to but when it comes to hell and end times there is room for interpretation. The word Jesus uses for hell is the word used for the place where Israel would burn their trash and the fires would be burning non stop. But it doesn't have to be a literal fire for the analogy to make sense.
