Getting on plane Friday at CVG Airport in ‘CinciTucky’, (OH/KY) I was greeted by a seemingly friendly Steward at the front of the plane. During boarding the Steward happened to glance at my hat, which proudly displays the American flag, he then sees that I’m listening to X-22 report on my IPhone screen and says something to me I could not hear…

Based on past experiences I assumed it would be negative comment just because my experience has been that way for the last 6 years, alas, I pulled out my ear piece and politely said ‘pardon me?’ … expecting some woke BS or criticism, But, humbly speaking, I was pleasantly surprised to hear ‘I Love X22 report, you are not alone my brother!’ We fist bumped and I walked away w/ some hopium… and a smile!

I was stunned … I think we are seeing the change everyday, especially in places where we least expect to find hope…

I will say it impacted me, the hope it gave me - going forward, I intend to recognize people who display their patriotism w/ simple words of hope like the Steward gave me…
