2.5 billion split between the 67 million residents of the UK is 37 pounds each.
Someone can be obnoxiously rich, while still not holding the magic key to wealth for everyone else. I couldn't give two fucks about royals of any kind, but this is commie 'steal from the rich, give to the poor' brainlet material.
Who the fuck said anything about taking from the rich to give to the poor???.... You kinda missing the whole point of the post...
He doesn't have to distribute that wealth. That's not the point. But he SHOULD , indeed as the Queen before him SHOULD have, advocated for policies that actually built a stronger nation with real industrial power and jobs so people could better themselves, instead of sitting idly by and letting the commies import millions of muslims and africans, piss away national status, disarm the population, anddrag Britain down to third world status. Being rich isn't a crime. But taking a "let them eat cake" attitude will lose you your head.
Why would he build a stronger Britain when the goal is to destroy all countries so the super-rich can divide up the planet according to their own liking?
Well there's that. I guess we'll have to see how this develops. When the masses finally tumble to the plan, there wont be a private jet left on earth that doesn't have rifle rounds in its engines, a yacht unscuttled, nor a hide-away hole without its air vents blocked. Then come the torches and pitchforks.
That's a good point. I'm conflicted. If they built a stronger Britain and lowered taxes, MORE money would come in (just like Reagan and Trump did). I guess this is where you insert the "why not both" meme.
That's not a picture of a business man, an entrepreneur, or an inventor. That's a really prolific tax collector.
I made no claim about how their wealth was accumulated, just that it's simply not enough to fix anything for the entire population of the UK, and that this meaningless argument is always used to target those at the top - including entrepreneurs and inventors.
Taxation will always be theft in my mind, but the argument this image is implying is cancer.
No, you're right. The 'wealth redistribution' argument is easily hidden in there.
In this case though, the wealth redistribution has already occurred through taxation under the illusion of legitimate government. Royalty and nobility is a total farce and always has been.
I don't see it as wealth redistribution, I see it as recovering stolen wealth from thieves and seizing blood money from murderers. It would be the same outcome, but the packaging is very important on this issue -- because the packaging sets a precedent and rationale.
