So QE2 death (previously on ice, or still alive) was announced to dominate the news to hide something else? The only thing that qualifies is announcement of the invalidity of US 2020 election or other major disclosure events?

I don't know, but the UK is being effectively shut down on Monday for the funeral.

Even to the point where kids aren't allowed to play football etc. - it's really weird. I get the feeling they want everyone at home for some other reason.
