81 One lane of I-95 N bridge re-opens, steel beams show no damage from exposure to flames --- Weird I was told flames weaken the steel they contact causing buildings to collapse perfectly into themselves. How is this bridge okay? (www.wral.com) posted 2 years ago by patriotic_legend 2 years ago by patriotic_legend +84 / -3 49 comments share 49 comments share save hide report block hide replies
Do gas and jet fuel burn at the same temp when ignited.
Jet fuel = kerosene
Kerosene cannot burn hot enough to melt steel.
2500 degrees is not hot enough to melt steel?
2500 degrees is the temperature at which steel begins to melt. But kerosene, when not manipulated in a lab, burns, at best, 1800 degrees.
Not enough to melt steel.
A reduction in tensile strength is all that is needed, not molten metal.
It's comments like this that made me believe the narrative.
It's comments like this that came from Rosie Odonell immediately after 9-11 (although she phrased it like a 5 year old retard)
