Non-fungible token I believe, a cryptocurrency related term for what are essentially image-collections or similar blockchain assets that can be traded, bought and sold like any other virtual property, with the 'owner' as being dictated by the blockchain records.

So presumably a bunch of these trading-card type properties have been produced and will be handed out. Not something that has any intrinsic value except what people assign to them who want to 'own' them.

It’s a digital image with a fancy unique receipt associated with it. When you buy an NFT you’re really just paying for the receipt because anyone can screenshot the image. For this reason, these tokens have become a subject of mockery around the internet, and also because many of the associated images look incredibly stupid.
