Hold on, NFT is not the same as using the Blockchain technology to verify the authenticity of a real product with intrinsic value, is it? In my understanding, NFTs have no value, you're just paying for the receipt to an (often ugly) digital image that anyone could screenshot if they thought it was a cool image. The uses of Blockchain technology you're mentioning sound useful and legitimate. When I think of NFTs however I think of Seth Rich and his stolen monkey NFT, I think of greedy gaming companies trying to sell digital images only of their characters for thousands of dollars, I think of money laundering like they do in the art world already...
Most NFTs now are such as you describe. NFTs are built on a blockchain though. Anything can be โtokenizedโ which is the T in NFT. The value of the NFT is whatever it contains, and the value people consider its worth to be, much like a stock or trading card. NFTs do bring some benefits such as ownership, transparency, and independence from hosting/publishing providers.
NFTs will change the way business is done, in the real world and digital space. We all know the cabal operates the music and movie industry, they will blacklist certain people if they donโt bend the knee, get shut out of the industry. With NFTs music artist wont be beholden to the record label or publishers, same thing for the movie industry. Content creators wont have to rely on the Harvey Weinsteins or P Diddys of the world if they want to release music, and will have better control of their content and receive more payment than big businesses like Spotify offer.
Also NFTs are immutable, meaning the days of censorship will be over, or at least much more difficult.
