Yet we have manuscripts of various Bible passages dating back thousands of years, and the changes are minimal, literally nothing more than spelling errors.
Find one Bible manuscript that overtly contradicts another one. I’ll wait.
You'll be waiting an eternity fren. I am not terribly interested in reading more than what I peruse in the various sites I visit daily and any other information than I catch in my attempts to be "entertained" and/or "educated" and/or "informed". If I were to decide to dig I would probably go back further and find out what previous cultures espoused that found its way into the Bible. You have faith. I am not so blessed. Life goes on and neither one of us is alone in our state of existence. What about the books that did not make it into your book? That by definition is editing. The word of God is all well and good but God still entrusted humans to write down the messages.
The best part of all is that in all likelihood, all remnants of this modern world will be swept away, the surface will be largely as it was found after the last big melting of the glaciers that covered most of land masses during the last ice age. Oh and guess what else, that ice cover is going to return for a long long time. The stories that will be told will likely includes the myths of old as well as new myths and "history" will be rewritten once more. I can only hope to see what the cosmos or God has planned for us. It will be interesting should I receive eternal life to watch what humans devolve or evolve into in their next epoch on this old water laden rock.
In the end it doesn't even matter. I wonder what written knowledge will survive into the next "modern" culture that will come when that ice melts again.
