I had that thought as well, but then I thought about 2028. I'm not sure how many independents she would pick up. She is a lot tougher than a lot of the "nervous and squishy" republicans and independents can handle. I think she would be great as VP, and as POTUS - if she could be elected. She still has too much to do in CONgress to pull her, make her a VP, and then retire her.

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see Gen Flynn as VP for one term, and then Desantis runs in 2028. Flynn probably can't win as POTUS but Trump would be who is voted for with Flynn along for the ride as VP. Trump will need someone strong, and with the type of background Flynn has.

I only see three other possibilities, and those would be Devin Nunes, Richard Grenell, and John Ratcliffe.
