These EV owners probably believe that 'Self-cleaning' ovens clean themselves too. How about the 'smudge-free' refrigerator? My wife bought a 'miracle' broom a while ago. I can see why. It 'miraculously' ended-up in the trash.
EV's are good as simple and inexpensive city cars, with "Edison" or lead/ acid batteries. Railway Express Agency used EV delivery cars with "Edison" batteries until about 1960 in Manhattan. Actually saw one in operation when I was a little kid. Con Edison used to give then a discount for charging them at night. Worked out well for many years.

So they’re suing because they’re stupid and lapped up the marketing buzz words instead of actually reading the fine print?

You leave the steering wheel, you trust the autopilot and when 1 cable or sensor disconnects - you die.
Expendable battery powered vehicles.
Message to EV owners... "Just have to trust and mind-meld. Blindfold and hit the gas!"
