"a fictionalized take, based on the 2000 novel written by Joyce Carol Oate." In other words.....a lie. Not surprising considering the feminist left considers marital sex as rape.
I know I will get down voted to hell for this but I don't understand the rampant JFK love among the GAW forum peeps.
Now granted I am about a quarter century too young to have either experienced JFK firsthand or even been alive at the same time as he was. BUT from my understanding he was just a normal guy with faults etc. And no matter what his potential was for great change or how cool it would have been if he had lived to do some of it, his one MAJOR fault was that he was a notorious poonhound as evidenced by Marilyn and the way he would basically order her to service his brother, etc.
Marilyn for her part seems like an emotionally damaged individual who used her sexuality to try to get "love" and attention wherever she could. Which makes Kennedys use of her in these ways that much more reprehensible imho.
He let that urge get in the way of his better judgment a number of times which I am sure gave Mafia or mob adjacent types like Sinatra leverage on him - more even than the Mob probably had from his father calling in favors to get him elected via fraud.
Add to this the fact that his dalliance may have led to his involvement or at least knowledge and acceptance of her probable murder and it becomes an even sadder story.
God uses flawed people, to be sure. But we have to be careful we don't overlook their flaws and canonize them anyway.

These fanfics are getting out of control.
Hulu also claimed Tyson raped a woman. It was extremely one sided.

I'm pretty sure he didn't have to rape her. Happy birthday to you
