What if articles on the benefits of public banking were to start appearing all over the various coherent corners of the internet. What are they going to do, call it disinformation and fake news? Start throwing people in jail, like Assange? They can't exactly say it's national defense and has to be secret.

check out credit unions
If you, a spouse, parent or grandparent served in the armed forces you want to go with Navy Federal. They're one of the only credit Unions that has physical locations all over the nation and their customer service, benefits, and credit card / interest rates are amazing.
Also they don't have all the stupid fees that most banks have.
Ps. They don't actually require proof that one of your parents or grandparents were in the military for those of you thinking that that would be a roadblock if your loved one has passed on and aren't sure how you would prove that they were enlisted at some point.

True enough, but I have a feeling they're deep state. They're based in VA and mandated the murder shot for employees. After 20+ years I closed my account and opened an account in a local state chartered credit union.
Followed the link only to be greeted by this pop-up:
I've been going the entire pandemic and was never told to wear a mask (Although during the Hight of it I was offered one which I politely declined) so maybe get an in-person perspective instead of what some Karen in HR directed what was put on the website.
That's a good take on it. I'm so ready to toss anything that even hints at imposing Covid rules on me.
