Kalani David, 24, dies after having a seizure out on the water

World junior surfing champion Kalani David died in Costa Rica on Saturday after having a seizure while out in the ocean. The surfer suffered from Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome.

I love watching surfing. Not because I’m athletic, I just love the ocean & seeing them on the waves. I don’t know his background but I have to wonder if surfer’s get the same head trauma as football players. They sometimes take very bad falls. We have been watching “100 Foot Wave” series. The main surfer has a death wish! He has no fear and wants to surf bigger waves each time.
