Sorry about your feels but it is literally written in the 13th Amendment of The Constitution. Slave owners often referred to their slaves as property, not as their slaves. Calling it something else doesn't change what it is.

I don't consider prisoners to be slaves. They are making" reparations" for the crimes they committed.
Assuming they're justly imprisoned in the first place.
Sometimes prison is used as a tool to ‘cancel’ anyone crossing the globohomos (see weed possession).
I really don't think weed is a threat to the establishment.

They use weed as an excuse to arrest whomever they please (east to plant evidence).
When I think of planting evidence I think more about cocaine than weed.
