This is an automatic download. Can we get some warning on these so we can choose to open or not? Also, idk, is there some way to tell from the address? Is it the .pdf extension that is the tip off? Would like to know for future use. Ty
It’s not an automatic download. Your device is configured to automatically download pdfs. My device is configured to just view them in the browser.
Also yes, the .pdf at the end does indicate that it’s a pdf, but that’s because it’s a direct link. URLs back by a server can hide the file extension with a bunch of query parameters, or even omit the file extension completely. In this case, the server will parse your url and redirect you accordingly.
