I've been following Q since about a month after they started posting and Im a VOAT refugee.
I could be wrong but did we have a lot of posts about September 24th being a very important day with yuge happenings? Unless I missed something, which is possible, I dont think it lived up to expectations.
One thing I've learned following Q so long is when you get hyped for specific dates be prepared to be disappointed. I recall a discussion (can't remeber if it was on GAW or VOAT) explaining how date fagging hurts norale and credibility of the Great Awakening/Q movement. I felt it and know that to be true.
When D5 was a flop I was really down and lost hope in the plan. It took some time for me to recover morale - I was really down. I dont want any of you to feel that level of disappointment so I wanted to share this PSA to be very careful with putting too much weight on info about specific dates.
It’s just a part of the Q experience we all go through. Of course we want everything to happen NOW. But these things don’t happen on our timetable. To me, datefagging is about engaging in Q posts and Q discussions, and trying to understand what Q meant when he said specific things. There’s nothing wrong with that, but predictions for specific dates and times are almost never correct. It’s only after events happen that the connection becomes clear. For example, the death of the queen and her funeral.
Nevertheless datefagging serves a good purposes in my opinion.
I definitely get your points and agree. The key is to have people not put everything riding on certain dates because when that prediction doesn't come true it hurts morale. As long as folks don't lean too far into the prediction to the point of severe disappointment it could be ok.
