That's the same thing the Jews wondered.
When you state things that are obviously gonna happen, and they seem to match up with other topics (like other Q drops), than it makes sense to take a stab in the dark, right?
Because if your right, it might have helped some people prepare, and others can build off what you figured out.
If you're wrong, it doesn't mean you're wrong forever. It might actually happen exactly as you pieced together, but in the future.
Think about Jesus prophecies about the destruction of the temple and setting up the kingdom of heaven.
His own disciples thought it was happening soon.
They were devastated when he died. They didn't expect that. 30 years later, Jerusalem was destroyed and all his prophecies in Matt 24 were fulfilled.
He was right. But they didn't understand it wouldn't happen till decades in the future.
sense to take a stab in the dark, right?
No. Esp I wouldn't call myself a prophet when I'm just taking stabs at dark. Anyone can throw guesses that the storm is happening eventually. It's not of any particular value to claim when something is happening when it isn't. If your entire claim is it might help one day, we all knew that.
man you're no prophet, but just a coward who can't even admit they didn't know shit and was wrong.
