I bet $20 that 1/2 of the population is foreign nationals who ain’t eligible to vote but counted by census = MORE CONGRESSIONAL SEATS and MORE ELECTORAL VOTES
Cookstoves are probably in there too, if not now; soon. I remember about 17 years or so ago, where I live in Kentucky we had an ice storm. It took out power lines and no one had electricity; some for up to 2 weeks. We went without for a week, but we managed. My home is gas heat, gas cookstove and gas water heater. Since our furnaces thermostat is electric we could not use it. So my husband and I blocked off the living room and kitchen and we used the gas cookstove for heat. We would boil water on the stove and heat cast-iron cookware to release heat into the room. We could take a shower as we still had hot water to bathe, but you had to be quick. Anyway, we had it at a 60 to 62 degree comfort level. We also had a sleeper sofa in the living room. If not for that, George, me and my daughter would have froze to death had it not been for my kitchen stove. In fact, we were talking about this the other day. God finds a way for his people.
So, after killing the future of new automotive sales with a forced switch over to EVs, California has now managed to kill off construction of new residential structures.
I was able to leave Commiefornia a year ago to a deep red state. Couldn't be happier.
The water heater and furnace repair business is going to pick up big time in 2030.
If I lived there, I would purchase both a new water heater, or 2, and a new furnace now, and store them in the garage for when they will be needed.
The cost of electricity will be 4 to 5 time what it costs now....if there is any available, while the cost of natural gas will fall due to lowering demand.
LOL! California, you crazy!
Crazy?! They know exactly what they are doing
It will only end bad for them. Let them do it! They are burying themselves!
Exactly. it is plainly obvious. That is why its hilarious.
They are proving to be the example of what not to do!
...valid observation....
The problem is that many blue states have vowed to follow California's lead on this climate bs.
...it is because Cali is the 800 lb gorilla...
...they are the reason we all have to live with their emission laws....
The illegals there grossly inflated the census.

Dear NV and AZ better start building a wall now! Oregon...well...eat a dick and enjoy the climate refugees from California.

...enjoy the bed you made...

...that is a wonderful plan...
...until they shut the supply of gas off....
