Maybe Jeb! knew that daddy was executed. Maybe he was mentally prepared for that knowledge, but the photo sent him reeling anyway? Like the whole time he's like, "Damn it sucks that they executed dear old dad - OH LAWD JESUS! THAT'S DAD!"
