This makes me wonder. Does Trump still think like this? It is, in fact, contrary to what Jesus taught, and Trump does profess faith in Jesus... Did he back then know? Regardless...

Having mercy is a different thing entirely from withholding justice and preventing further criminal offense.

Just wondering if Trump has since changed his views on this topic.
