I've always hated the often used political spectrum when it should just be total tyrannical control on the left, and total anarchy on the right, with all the other typical political labels somewhere in between.
While not perfect, the 'better' model is the diamond model.

But here's an interesting view: The true origins of the Right-Left dichotomy are profound. Politically, the concept emerged during the French Revolution period, but energetically, it manifested most starkly when Christ was crucified. The thief on the right ("the good thief") affirmed Jesus' innocence, acknowledged his own mistakes, and praised God. The thief on the left mocked Jesus and God, and failed to acknowledge his own sins.
The Right is, generally speaking, more inclined to be receptive to God's direction, while the Left is chronically vulnerable to manipulation by the Devil.
But ultimately, all the differences on the chart above come into conflict because of the fracturing of the human heart at the time of the Fall. When the Fall is fully resolved, then all these various elements will fall into harmony and find balance that moves us all forward. <prediction>
