I'd rather not say until I know for sure. For now the best thing to do is continue with your own vigilance.
If you can't say it in public, I would suggest sending a modmail.
If you insist to know, various things that I have witnessed have me concerned that the ga.w mod team is controlled opposition. For example: I saw what the comment was and that it was certainly nothing to be deleted, especially seeing as how cats took it as friendly jibing. But it was also referring to a particular topic that seems to be, shall I say, artificially sensitive, which reminded me of another topic that was deliberately mislabeled in bad faith.
I could be wrong of course, which is why any and all information helps.
