Of my creation. With good sound proofing. In the safety of my own home. As a way to escape from some of the stress for an hour or so. Maybe integrate a way to play video games or watch movies.
But they definitely seem to be training people to crave this scenario; pods near each other. Not a private place, but within view and audible distance of others. No escape.
Notice in new subdivisions how tightly packed the homes are getting too? There's new houses built near where I live that the roof edges are a mere6 feet apart from one house to the next. Imagine if one house caught fire how fast that would spread across neighboring houses.
They also don't like you building walls in a lot of these areas. Front-facing fences (as in, front yards) are outlawed in a lot of suburbs. Kind of trash.
You know, the idea of a pod is comforting.

Umm...a warm bath and some relaxing music...like, Tom McDonald, for example?
My bathroom is not NEARLY sound proof enough to listen to Tom McDonald!
