And, yeah, I get not everything is a conspiracy, but with food production in dire stress with fires in processing plants, and arsonists destroying iconic markets, nothing surprises me.
This little fly appeared out of nowhere. From an article: “Experts figure the bug hitched a ride to the area on imports of granite and other stone slabs.”
Maybe.
These bugs attack fruit crops and they love grapes. They get right into the vine of the grapes and rob them of sap and leave a bacteria that can kill vines. This moth-like fly has been compared to a vampire.
Since then, the bug has spread like wildfire into nearby states, including New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Michigan, devastating crops in their path. In New York, populations of the spotted lanternfly have taken hold on Long Island and in New York City. They are creeping into the Hudson Valley, and have been spotted in Ithaca and near Syracuse.
The development has Finger Lakes wineries bracing.
The reality of the situation has become clear in the Finger Lakes: it’s not a matter of if the bugs invade, but when.
Comms
Just like the "murder hornets"...fabricated production for the sole purpose of sending comms.
They have all but disappeared out here in Washington. Haven't heard anything about them on local news for a long time now. I agree on "comms" theories.
On fire! Nice breakdown!
I like how you think!
On the show " House of the Dragon" Lynell Strong is a Master of Interrogation for the Queen. He uses a " lantern bug" as his secret symbol .
I had an infestation on my fig tree. I bought a bunch of baby praying mantis's and release them in late spring. I now have green and brown mantis's all over the property and no more lattern flys.
If you ever see them and want to stomp on them, approach them headon, they kind of just freeze and take their crushing peacefully.
they will use every vector of attack available
Sounds biblical.

Lanterns shine light on the dark corners... maybe China is telling stories.
Over and over throughout our short history as a country our native environment has been "accidentally" destroyed by disease or invasives (plants, bugs, TikTok (kek)) from Asia.
Off the top of my head: Latternbug. Chestnut blight. Ash Bores. "Covid?"
I believe [they] do it on purpose.
Hopefully it's just comms.
Edit: Anon in this thread reminded me of Japanese Beatles. Again "accidentally" introduce to America.
Im in hop/vine country, WA. We are dealing with japanese beetle currently. How they got here im not sure but the ag department is pissed. They do destroy crops and simultaneously vector disease and have no natural enemies.
I hate CA but they have very strict rules related to action level analysis in agriculture. "Red tape." The only way glypho gets on crops is through off target drift. Which experienced farmers know how to handle.
Dont forget there has been a multi front attack on agriculture by progressives for decades. I wouldnt jump on either of those trains you replied with.
My balls in your mouth.
Let me dig through my archives just for you, for something quite broad and well known. You made the wild claim, then came with cbs news and moms for America as "sauce." Try again
