What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
I’m reading. Not what I planned for today but it works. No water, so no laundry, no dishes or shower.
You need to set up a rainwater collection system. Hide it behind the house, if authorities don't like it.
We never lost electricity or water. We just had a bit of wind and a lot of rain. And most of the water puddles are already going away.
I agree totally. We do have a generator wired to the house. Just flip the switch in the panel box & we are on the ginny. One to many hurricanes with out power & twenty years later we are set on electric. I can’t get my husband to see the need for backup water. We get along great but there’s some arguments you just can’t win. We even have a well my grandparents used up until the 80s when we got city water. Sure it might cost to get a pump running to see if the well is good. I think it’s worth it. I’d call semi awake. He listens to what I say about the elite controlling but he thinks “we” here are crazy to think things could be shut down by them. I figured he’ll learn eventually. He’s further along now than a year ago.
I'm glad my wife is with me 100% on preparedness. She doesn't get all the Q stuff, pizzagate, etc., but she's all in on getting ready for anything.
We get along great. We had always been told that the most prevalent cause of divorce was money, so when we got married, we got one account, put all our money in it, and spent hell out of it. When it's gone, it's gone. So we never fight about money. I handle the long-range budget so I know where tight spots might come, and she agrees to cut back when we need to.
We have an old well, but the pump is long gone. So we'll probably have to dig another one. We have the drill point and the drop weight, as well as a pitcher pump, although it probably needs a new leather by now.
I'd love to have a propane whole house generator, but we've learned to get by without electricity during storms.
Sounds like a great relationship. I love it we people work together. I’m fine with him being hesitant on prep. He’s thinking of the money instead of prep. About twenty years ago he took over the handling of money & I couldn’t be happier. Lots of my women friends back then thought I was being controlled 🤣 I got it made! They really didn’t know me. I’ve got the freedom to buy what I want but I respect he works hard so I don’t crazy shopping. I haven’t worked in twelve years because of chronic pain & it works for us. Our generator is regular gas. He wants to upgrade one day. We don’t run everything when we need it. Ceiling fans or heat, fridge & freezer, hot water heater before shower & laundry. I’d say we have used it six times in twenty years. We are very rural and will be the last for the power to come back. Ginny stays in a storage building with its own panel box. Wire is run under ground to our house. He flips the switch on the house panel box.
I tell people I’m like Jerry Clower’s wife, “don’t mess with mama”
