Thanks, the closest one I've seen work is at drunk driver checkpoints, by putting the details in a baggie with the information required and a note that any further searches will require a warrant, and only opening the window enough for the bag to slip through then it's just a matter of waiting until the cops accept that they don't have what they need to get a warrant.

Indeed they do.
But once jurisdiction is appreciated, it is possible to take it, and excert power.
Although I am in a different country than the US, we have found a way to make the court behave in a way we want.
And it is never about contents. Always jurisdiction and venue.
