I typically don’t dream but occasionally I have ones that absolutely pertain to my life or those around me.
I can never recall having a more unsettling dream.
“Started with crazy storms. Massive amounts of tornadoes. At the worst part of the storm aliens revealed themselves. Destroyed city centers. After this they dropped some kind of bio weapon a kind of particle. The particles destroyed everything they touched including humans in a horrific way. Melted you into nothing but grey goo. Most of Earth was destroyed. All but several “fly over sates” in the core of America.
Second Alien race conscripted humanity. At war with the first alien race. They were happy to keep humanity safe as long as we fought for them. If you didn’t they put you in an arena where other humans hunted you for sport.
Survivors found they were able to resist the alien particles ability to melt you if you concentrated on staying alive. At the end of the dream humans learned they ability to reverse the alien particle destruction by something inside.”

Seriously speaking, I had a dream earlier this year about 17 tornadoes/waterspouts in the ocean. I was viewing them from the beach. Some appeared to be morphing into people. I happen to be taking a trip to the beach next week. In the same dream there was a tsunami. I was caught up in it, but came out unharmed.
"Something inside" = faith and intent. My dreams are similar but with lots of fire.
The first aliens are the wicked who run things, they'll destroy us unless we concentrate on spiritually staying alive.
The second aliens are other people who promise victory against the evil, but are scarcely better in the long term.

I had a bit of an apocolyptic dream where it looked like earthquakes were tearing everything apart but it turnwd out that the earth was growing in size as part if a symbiotic relationship with man. It was doubling in size once certain population numbers were hit
I have never had dreams based on your “topic” but have had repeated dreams of a bioped tigerman attacking, which i coorelated to my birth father calling me tiger and his anger. I am not a dream analyst but the subjects you mention, storms, aliens, war are discussed both here and other media forms and thus maybe causing your dream state mind to recall and create.
