Your 12-year-old is now given the option to select pronouns for their digital dolls house residents, and instead of creating characters as male or female, children are presented with a multitude of fact-skirting questions to establish whether their digital friends “can become pregnant” or “can get others pregnant”. To ease confusion there’s an option to declare whether or not your Sim can “use the toilet standing”.
Old-fashioned man/ woman constructs are included in the game when it comes to romantic promiscuity. All Sims are defaulted to reflect a romantic interest in both male and female Sims, and they’re open to “exploring romantically”.
Trans characters are accommodated with the option to select “masculine” or “feminine” styles. I’ve added a pic of Daryl (who can get others pregnant) in a feminine frame.
Well done, Electronic Arts! You just inclusived your fans away from a previously beloved franchise.
Honestly shocked they didn’t also add micro transactions.
