I have a federal misdemeanor for possession of less than 1/2 gram of the refer from about 15 years ago on beach which turned out to be on federal land. I received 100 hours of community service and 1 year probation + about 40 random drug tests. I had never been in trouble with the law prior. While I was on probation they took away my right to vote and to this day I am still disqualified from obtaining a firearms permit in my state, so I am hoping this will end this unconstitutional nonsense.

I'm all for this, but even I could see the desperation in this move.
