...that is why we are so powerful--because we stand for something, and that something is goodness in all of its forms.
It our role to be the compass of goodness and truth, and this includes justice and accountability.
I embrace this role, and I am set on calling out relativism where I see it. Are you ready to do the same?
It only takes one question to destroy Relativism:
"Is Relativism absolutely true?"
You, Sir/Maam, are a philosopher.
You, sir/maam, are a seer. Because Philosophy just happens to be my college degree! kek!
Excellent! I am one of those rare people who values such a degree. I would have pursued that degree, but I went down the path of English and Literature instead. Critical holistic thinking at its best among the true humanities degrees.
"Everything is relative."
"Including that statement?"
Clear thinking is fun, isn’t it?
Thats the one. Its a good tool to change the definition of obscenity, by promoting the acceptance of ambiguity and the institutionalization of change, its playing God.
I must concur, as I am guilty of ignoring stupidity happening in front of my face, thinking any analyzation of such would bring me to their level. I was wrong. I (we) should always be calling out bullshit we know is wrong and are convinced we could never get away with it. That's how they've gotten away with it, so far...
Well said. But it is difficult and sometimes scary to do so (risking a job, or a friendship, or whatever). Risk, itself, is the great pair of handcuffs in the sky above all humanity.
