Not sure about all of you, but I'm the only one in my whole immediate and extended family that is a pure blood.
Has anyone realized that there is a definite effect on their cognition, decision-making, and memory?
My parents are on the older side, late 60's and 70's. They are literally retarded now. I try to help and be a good son, but they can't even follow simple instructions. They were always sharp, knew how to operate, but the one variable is the kill shot.
I don't know if this is playing into my own biases, but I've noticed that I have to walk them through everything. It was never this way before.... Their memory is atrocious, they have no idea of how to execute instructions.... It's just... hard to help them when they are so fucking retarded now...
Anyone relate?
The word retard literally means slow. So he's describing an after effect of the drug as opposed to being hoodwinked. However I agree that being too trustworthy is definitely a cause of this whole issue.
No. Being too blindly trusting (in other words, gullible) is the cause of the issue for these people. Being trustworthy (worthy of trust) is a good thing we should all strive for.
Yes I agree. I think the tense I was using the word came out wrong but I agree.
